To force a customer to place an order a day in advance you will need to first select on your Order Type to have Allow Future Day Ordering to be active. Set your Wait Time on the Order Type for the amount of time that will force them to select the following day. Set your Hours for each day of the week that you are allowing them to select to pick up the orders.

For example: If you allow customers to pickup their orders between 10:00am - 2:00pm set your Hours as that. If you set your Wait Time to = 24hours would be 1440 minutes. This would force the customer placing an order today to choose a pickup time for tomorrow.
