HOW TO ADD IMAGE FOR ITEMS FROM GOOGLE CLOUD STORAGE

Images should be square and 300 x 300 to 500 x 500 pixels. Whatever size you choose to use, be consistent with all images.

Store your images in a cloud storage solution with public access directly to the image.

A good solution is Google Cloud Storage (https://cloud.google.com/storage/), but typically, wherever you store your current website's images is where you can store item images. For best results, the URL should start with “https…”

  1. Login to OrderCloud

  2. Select Manage Stores

  3. Select the Location

  4. Open the Menu

  5. Select the item

  6. Add the URL for the item image under the Image URL field

  7. Select Save Menu Item

HOW TO ADD IMAGE FOR ITEMS FROM GOOGLE DRIVE

Images should be square and 300 x 300 to 500 x 500 pixels. Whatever size you choose to use, be consistent with all images.

Step 1: Click the Image

Step 2: Click the three dots in the right corner and select share.

Step 3: Select: "Anyone on the internet with this link can view"

From there you'll take the image's ID within each image link and tack it to the end of this URL:

https://drive.google.com/thumbnail?id=Paste_Your_ID_HERE&sz=w1000

An example would look like this:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/ 1YsDGp2R-hEfwGPOz7SbLejil49Qx_v29 /view?usp=sharing

What is in bold and underlined is your image's unique ID.

Add that ID at the end of this URL format:

https://drive.google.com/thumbnail?id=Paste_Your_ID_HERE&sz=w1000

End result:

https://drive.google.com/thumbnail?id=1YsDGp2R-hEfwGPOz7SbLejil49Qx_v29&sz=w1000

You can add this final URL into OrderCloud, and your images will be visible to customers (see below)

In OrderCloud, click on the Menu Item that you want to add an Image to and enter the “Final URL” in the box labeled “Image URL”
