The Alt Name is used/displayed when sending orders to some POS integrations, ToGo Printer, and/or FreshKDS.

If you have a POS integration that name generally is the same as the button name and is updated by the POS. Changes to the Alt Name in an integrated setup will be overwritten by the next sync.. It can be changed for non-POS integrated locations.
