You will need to have access to NorthStar web account and the ToGo account on OrderCloud to begin.
On NorthStar create an Online Area and an alternate payment called Online Payment make note of the External ID for the Online Area and the Online Payment. This will be entered at a later time in OrderCloud
Login to OrderCloud https://togotechnologies.com/
Select the Merchant
Select Manage Stores
Select the Location
Select the Admin tab
Under the POS Configuration section choose Northstar
Under Other Settings select Edit
The following information needs to be entered into the POS Configuration
Access Token
Open the Northstar Account.
Select from the menu Admin > Access Token
Generate Access Token and name ToGo Integration - Location Name
Copy the Access Token and paste in the OrderCloud - POS Configuration Access Token field
Site ID
In ECM select Sites and locate the Site ID for the location
Copy the Site ID and paste in the OrderCloud - POS Configuration Site ID field
NorthStar Site
In NorthStar select edit tool for the Site
Select Integrations tab
Select Web Ordering API tab
Select the Enable Web Ordering checkbox
Under the Web Ordering Alternate Payment Options - Select the checkbox for Default and Available for the Online Payment
Under the Web Ordering Areas - Select the checkbox for Default and Available for the Online
Copy the Web Ordering URL
Paste in the OrderCloud - POS Configuration NorthStar Site field
8. Select Apply & Save on the ECM Web Ordering API tab
Default 3rd Party Tender Type Id
On OrderCloud in the POS Integration Default 3rd Party Tender Type ID enter the External ID for the Alternative - Online Payment you setup on NorthStar and you noted in the first step of this process.
Take Out Order Area ID
On OrderCloud in the POS Integration Take Out Order Area ID enter the External ID for the Online order area you setup on NorthStar and you noted in the first step of this process.
For other entries if applicable enter the External IDs

Calculate Final Price from the POS
If you want the POS to be the final pricing for the order turn click to activate
Percentage Over Estimated Total for PreAuth
A percentage can be entered to add additional $ amount when pre-authorizing the credit card. This would be used to protect an order from failing if the POS total is more than the total calculated on OrderCloud. Note: the customer will see a different amount Pre-Authorized then the final amount, some banks will show this pre-auth on the customers account up to 3-5 days.
Print Delivery Information at Top of Ticket
Set to active if you want delivery information printed at the top
Send Order to POS
Prep Time - Orders will be sent to the POS at the "wait time" entered on OrderCloud for the OrderType
Immediately - Orders will be sent to the POS as soon as the order is created by the customer.
When Sending an "I'm Here" link to customer
Only recommended to use for fast food restaurant when using FreshKDS
Select SAVE POS Integration Settings
Import Menu on OrderCloud
Once your configuration entries are completed the menu can be imported into OrderCloud from Northstar
On OrderCloud select the Location Home tab
Under the Menu section select +Add
Type in the name of the menu and select Add Menu
Click on the Menu that you just created
Select Import from Northstar POS - if this button does not appear log out of OrderCloud and log back in.
If you have multiple menus in Northstar select the menu to import
The menu should import all sections/categories. Some may appear as Hidden (Dark grey). To unhide select the Section and in the middle field select Edit and unselect Hide Section.
