ToGo has a feature that can be used with the following Order Types: Take Out, Curbside, Drive Thru. ToGo will send a link in the confirmation email to the customer that will allow the customer to select when they have arrived. When the customer selects this link the ToGo purchased printer and/or FreshKDS tablets will receive a notification that the customer has arrived.

FOR ToGo Printer: To use for Order Type - Order Type-Takeout with Curbside Enabled or Order Type - Curbside

If Curbside is used AND the Printer is set to Print Customer Arrival, a link will be sent in the customers confirmation email.

Setting up your Printer for Print Customer Arrival

  1. Login to OrderCloud

  2. Select Location

  3. Under the Location Home tab

  4. Under the TOGO Printers section

  5. Select the name of the printer

  6. Activate the Print Customer Arrival button

  7. Save Save Printer

The link will now be sent with the confirmation email or if using a ToGo built App the link will pop up on the App at 10 minutes before pickup time. Once the customer arrives at your location and selects the link the information will be sent to your printer and will print a chit with Order#, Name, Vehicle Information.

FOR ToGo Printer: To use for Order Type - Take Out, without Curbside enabled, Order Type - Drive Thru

Activate the Print on Customer Arrival for the ToGo Printer as described in the steps above.

  1. Login to OrderCloud

  2. Select Manage Stores

  3. Select the Location

  4. Under Order Types select the Order Type

  5. Activate the Always Send Customer I'm Here link

The link will now be sent with the confirmation email or if using a ToGo built App the link will pop up on the App at 10 minutes before pickup time. Once the customer arrives at your location and selects the link the information will be sent to your printer and will print a chit with Order#, Name, Vehicle Information.

Send SMS (Text) Message with i'm Here link

In addition to email you may also choose to send text messages with a link in the email. Charges will apply Text notifications are billed at $0.01 USD per message, with a minimum charge of $1.00 USD. For example, if you send 45 notifications in a month, you will pay $1.00 on top of your Fresh KDS subscription. If you send 145 notifications in a month, you will pay $1.45 on top of your current billing.

Setup - Send SMS When Printing

  1. Login to OrderCloud

  2. Select Manage Stores

  3. Select the Location

  4. Under Order Types select the Order Type

  5. Select Send SMS When Printing

  6. Select Save Order Type Rule

  7. On the Location Home tab under ToGo Printers

  8. Select the printer by clicking on the name

  9. Turn Print Customer Arrival on

  10. Select Save Printer

  11. Select the Save button on the Location Home tab at the bottom of Demographics section.
