ToGo has a feature that can be used with the following Order Types: Take Out, Curbside, Drive Thru. ToGo will send a link in the confirmation email to the customer that will allow the customer to select when they have arrived. Or if using a ToGo built APP a link will pop up on the APP 10 minutes before pickup time.

When the customer selects this link FreshKDS tablets that have the Take-Out View activated will receive have a flashing vehicle appear on the order in the Take-Out View screen on Fresh KDS. This flashing vehicle alerts you the customer has arrived.

Step 1: Setup Takeout View on your FreshKDS

On the FreshKDS tablet you will use for Take-out View:

  1. Select the settings button 3 lines in the upper left

  2. Select Settings

  3. Select Take-Out View

  4. Enable Take-Out View

  5. You can choose to make Take-Out View your default choice if you are only using this view on FreshKDS.

Step 2: Setting up FreshKDS for Notify When Customer Arrives (this step will need to be completed for any of the order types chosen)

  1. Login to OrderCloud

  2. Select Location

  3. Select the Location Admin tab

  4. Under the KDS Integration Settings click Edit

  5. Activate the Notify When Customer Arrives button

  6. Select Save KDS Integration

Step 3: Setup To use for Order Type

Take Out - curbside enabled

If you already activated the Curbside Enabled button on your Take Out Order Type and have completed the steps above you are setup and the link will be sent in the customer confirmation email

Curbside

If you have completed the steps above you are setup and the link will be sent in the customer confirmation email.

Take Out - curbside not enabled

and

Drive Thru

  1. Login to OrderCloud

  2. Select Location

  3. Select the Location Admin tab

  4. Under the Order Types section

  5. Select the Take Out or Drive Thru Order Type

  6. Activate the Always Send the I'm Here link

If you have the steps above completed, the link will now be sent with the confirmation email or if using a ToGo built App the link will pop up on the App at 10 minutes before pickup time.
