You can choose the option to Allow In-Store Payments only or you can allow Online and In-Store Payments. Then you can have your customers pay for their order upon arrival. Some POS systems do not allow for open orders to be sent to the POS. Check with your POS Dealer.
To set an Order Type to Allow In-Store Payments Only
Login to OrderCloud
Select Manage Stores
Select the Location
On each Order Type open the Order Type and select the payment dropdown arrow
Select Allow In-Store Payments Only
Select Save Order Type
Or if allowing both Online and In-Store Payments make that selection
